Inner Harbour, a not for profit organization, has been one of Georgia's leading providers of quality residential and community-based educational services for emotionally and psychologically troubled children and teens, offering the broadest array of services for youth. Focus of treatments: Rapid assessments Development of social, emotional, and coping skills Intensive family therapy Substance abuse education Cognitive therapies These treatments are intended to prepare youth for successful re-integration back into the community. Inpatient stay may range from 3-4 weeks to 6 months.

Inner Harbour is an accredited school with specially trained teachers who weave educational objectives into every activity-both outdoors and in the traditional classroom. Through experience, we have found that many students are resistant and unmotivated as a result of emotional difficulties, differences in learning styles, repeated experiences of failure and feelings of worthlessness. As we encourage students to reflect and evaluate how they learn, they become personally involved in their educational and social experiences.

Inner Harbour frequently treats youth with addictions and ADD, and thus is well placed to contribute to the existing corpus of studies regarding Neurofeedback therapy. Inner Harbour strongly believes that neurofeedback therapy can become a model way to treat youth with behavioral and/or psychological disorders. Read more about this non-invasive treatment.
