Inner Harbour is part of the prestigious Leonard Bernstein School and is in affiliation with Kennesaw State. In addition, the State University of West Georgia has approved Inner Harbour's program as a practicum site for teachers seeking certification in special education.

Inner Harbour is a popular training site for psychiatric medical residents from the Schools of Medicine at Emory University and Morehouse School of Medicine, as well as interns in multiple disciplines from 40 colleges and universities around the United States and Canada.

Inner Harbour is the primary intensive residential treatment partner for the Multi-Agency Alliance for Children (MAAC), Georgia Association of Homes and Services for Children, and Fulton County Children and Adolescents Multidisciplinary Program System (CHAMPS).
