45 years of Turning Hurt into Hope

Inner Harbour has been successfully treating children and adolescents since 1962.
The life of a child or adolescent should be a happy time filled with wholesome activities and strong, positive relationships. The reality for thousands of Georgia children is just the opposite, and for those young people there is Inner Harbour. We give children a chance to make a new beginning free from illegal substances and removed from the abuse that stole their ability to trust others.

Nestled in the verdant woods west of Atlanta, magic occurs. Out amongst the trees and lakes, children and families encounter unique experiences that turn hurting into hope. Surrounded by horses, dogs, the rhythms of West African drumming, and a ropes course, one might miss the application of cutting edge technology. Yet, here among such an arcadian setting, staff members are utilizing an innovative electronic health record to more efficiently provide a high quality of service to our clients.

As an established community of well-trained and caring professionals, Inner Harbour's staff is dedicated to helping youth and families confront and respond to life's challenges in a safe, unique, natural and cost-effective environment including experiential therapies and state of the art residential treatment programs. Inner Harbour is the only residential treatment center in Georgia offering educational services which are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools for over twenty-five years, the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations, and the Association of Experiential Education.
