Inner Harbour and Youth Villages Finalize Merger
Georgia-based Inner Harbour and Tennessee-based Youth Villages held a
ceremony in Douglasville, Ga., on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009, to finalize
the merger between the two nonprofit organizations. The new name is
Youth Villages, Inner Harbour Campus.
"I can't imagine a better way to welcome Inner Harbour to our Youth
Villages family," said Patrick Lawler, chief executive officer of Youth
Villages. "Today's ceremony aptly demonstrated the excitement we all
feel - children, families and staff - as well as marking a milestone in the
history of youth treatment services for Georgia and the Southeast United
States."
