Ways You Can Help Inner HarbourInner Harbour Celebrates 47 Years Serving the Children of Georgia
For the past four decades, Inner Harbour has been a safe refuge for hurting children.
Serving the most intense children, we provide help for youth, ages 6-17, who have
suffered severe abuse and neglect and have a myriad of emotional, behavioral and
psychological issues and need residential treatment. Our unique ways of providing
therapy through our experiential therapies including West African drumming,
animal-assisted therapy, equine therapy, art therapy and outdoor education,
have been instrumental in reaching this challenged population of children.
Philanthropic support is a key factor in Inner Harbour's ability to further its mission. Inner Harbour receives donations for annual operating and capital needs. Memorial and honorary gifts, as well as in-kind donations, also are welcome. Our Greatest Need Inner Harbour's greatest need at this time is unrestricted donations towards our general operating budget. By off-setting our daily costs through donations of cash, gifts in-kind or through donated goods and services that directly impact our general operating costs, you allow Inner Harbour to maintain secure in uncertain times of state funding. By diversifying our funding sources, Inner Harbour hopes to support the programs that make us unique in how we reach and teach our children. Ways to Give
Circles of Ceremony Giving Program Thank you to all our loyal supporters who help the children of Inner Harbour: View our Gifts of Nurturing Donors View our Gifts in Kind Donors Inner Harbour is committed to the four "C's": Commitment, Competency, Ceremony, and Community. In Native American history and at Inner Harbour, it is important to celebrate accomplishments and to provide a ceremony by which your community can recognize your efforts and praise you for your achievements. Through our Circles of Ceremony Giving Program, we offer recognition for donors of $1,000 and up, who have gone above and beyond in their financial support of Inner Harbour. Online giving is an easy way to make a contribution. Multi-year pledges are welcome and any gifts of cash or stock are options as well. Our giving levels are representative of 10 major elements children need in order to thrive. Based on the fundamental needs of our children and the ideal growth process, the levels of giving are established to mirror what we give our children and what they gain from it. This is our way to recognize how our loyal supporters help in our growth process as an organization and how we all help the children of Inner Harbour.
