Second Annual Inner Harbour Bridge Builders' Breakfast planned for October 28, 2008
Our goal with this event is to raise awareness about the mental health issues
our children face and how Inner Harbour, a non-profit residential psychiatric
treatment facility, is part of the solution for children and families in Georgia and the Southeast.
We are proud to host this event at The Temple in Atlanta on October 28,2008.
We want to raise awareness and support for Inner Harbour for Children and Families.
We have invited the energetic Donna Lowry, Education Reporter for 11 Alive/ WXIA,
to emcee this event. The program will include testimonials from a parent of a
former resident, a friend and supporter along with a heartwarming story of a
graduate of our program who is thriving in his life thanks to the help he
received at Inner Harbour. A program highlight will be the Inner Harbour
West African Drumming Ensemble, one of the unique and successful experiential
therapies at Inner Harbour.
We are proud to announce that supporters have given over $40,000 in the past
in response to the breakfast. If you wish to contribute to the Bridge Builders'
Giving Society, please download a pledge card
and return it to the Office of Charitable Giving along with your contribution.
Thank you to all of those who support Inner Harbour and to those who make this event possible.
We look forward to sharing our mission with you and your friends.
